Role

As Machine Learning intern at Pimento, your responsibilities will be:

• Benchmark new and existing models

  Evaluate and compare new models in (e.g. generation, edition, OCR, replacement, enhancement, upscale) against a realistic production environment.

• Explore improvements to current pipelines

  Improve outputs quality, pipelines’ speed and overall creativity of ads.

• Present results

  Document findings, prepare concise reports, and communicate recommendations to the engineering and product teams.

• Requisites
  • Code - Solid proficiency in Python, including the ability to work with async-IO functions in a rich and complex codebase, managed with git .
  • Machine learning - Familiarity with the Machine learning domain and in particular with the latest text and visual large language models.
  • Presentation Skills - Demonstrated ability to create and present clear data presentations using tools like Google Slides, with a focus on communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Summarizing Skills - Capability to transform complex analyses into clear, actionable insights. Experience with creating executive summaries, detailed technical documentation, and regular performance reports that highlight key findings and recommendations.
• Experience: you are at the end of your engineering career.
• Academic background: Master in informatics / mathematics / data science.
• Network: you have previously worked with creative agencies or brand and marketing teams in your past experiences.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you want to build a department from scratch and contribute to the company building.
• Resilient: you always find solutions, whether through the door or the window.
• Autonomous: you know how to unblock yourself when hitting road blocks.
• Methodical: you have best practices in mind and know how to implement them.
• Good communicator: you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both internally and externally, and you are proficient in English.
